These are some examples of masthead design I am thinking of using for my music magazine. At first I thought of using sans-serif fonts, because it looks modish which I thought it'll suit well for my magazine concept. However, I've also thought of using serif fonts because it looks a bit vintage and vogue and so it'll make my magazine looks much more classy. On the other hands, I've also thought of using the bottom-left fonts because it looks very artistic, however it looks very childlike and immature; therefore it would not fit precisely well with my magazine concept. Lastly, the chosen fonts I am going to use for my masthead is the one that's circled in red; the reason why I've chosen this fonts is because, it is a serif fonts which give a vintage and yet artistic feels, also it looks very neat and organised which I thought it will fit perfectly well for my magazine concept.
