FRONT COVER
For my front cover I used photoshop as I would need to use this program for my final magazine front cover. I tried to make my front cover looks as creative and professional at the same time so it will stands out more, that's why I used different fonts style and colours.
CONTENTS
For the contents I used InDesign, and I tried to use different variety of pictures and colours so it will looks proficient.
Overall, I think that the preliminiary tasks was very helpful because it allow me to improve my Photoshop and InDesign skills, as these will be the main program I'd need to use to make my final magazine. Personally, when I used InDesign during my induction tasks I had a lot of difficulties because I have never used InDesign before, but now I feels much comfortable using InDesign.

keep is clean on the cover
Yes i like the magazine as i think that the image used for the front cover is very clear and good. The colour scheme is very simple but suits the magazine. I like the layout of the contents page as it very neat and organised. Yes the magazine suits the target audience as the stuff included would appeal to people of that age group. I would suggest next time to make you images for the contents page more diverse.
ReplyDeleteFront page - the image is well centred with the right angle shot. The model is looking at the camera which is good use of direct mode of address. The three colour scheme is matching the background which is a good use of anchorage. The masthead is bold and the largest font on the page. Next time, maybe fade out the background and focus the camera on the artist. also, use better fonts for the masthead.
ReplyDeleteContents page - Well use of different pictures which shows diversity. The contents match the pictures which keeps the audiences interest. You have used bigger fonts on the section you want the audience to focus mainly on - Next time, make the numbers on the page a bit more formal.
